Vitomir Popov was born in Varna in the family of professional musicians. He started playing piano at the age of six and a few years later he was admitted to the Dobri Hristov Music School in Varna. His love for music urges him to study another instrument and he starts playing the trombone. In his school years, Vitomir won awards from various competitions and participated in numerous concerts. After finishing his secondary education, he graduated from the National Academy of Music Prof. Pancho Vladigerov, Sofia.

His international career includes concerts in Italy, Spain, Greece, France and on the Bulgarian stage, he has played with different orchestras in Sofia, Pleven, Rousse, Vratsa. He has also worked for several years at the Varna Opera House.

In the last few years, Vitomir’s affinity for jazz, improvisation and composition grows further. He began playing in different Jazz, Soul, Funk bands and projects. He has starred with Tsvetan Momchilov (piano), Chavdar Gochev (guitar), Neyko Bodurov (trumpet), Stoyan Royanov YAY (saxophone), Polina Antonova (vocal) and others.

Driven by modern technology in music, he completes a musical production course at SOUND NINJA MUSIC ACADEMY and produces his own music on various platforms.

He teaches piano, solfeggio and music theory at Omni’s Cool.
